Third Assignment
Our third assignment was to take portraits of people. Three of them had to be strangers, though I unfortunately did not get to that part of the assignment. I did however took some portraits that I set up.
Richard Avedo
Richard Avedo was born on May 15th, 1923 in San Antonia, Texas. He was an American fashion and portrait photographer. In his early career he worked as an advertising photographer for a department store. Later down the line he started doing photography for magazines such as Vogue and Life. Richard had photographed many famous people such as Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol and the Beatles. Richard had numerous museum exhibitions around the world.
